big, work together, and emerge as next generation community leaders.
Combining soccer-driven leadership training with targeted workforce preparation, this year-
round program empowers high school students with hands-on learning experiences and skills
that help them to unlock future college and career opportunities.
The Passport to Prosperity After School Program goes beyond the game to equip elementary school students with essential life skills. Using soccer as a foundation, we foster teamwork, leadership, communication, decision making and problem-solving abilities in young learners.
The program also provides students with immersive learning experiences, including educational field trips, community service projects, and motivational interactions with local business and
community leaders.
These real-world connections deepen their understanding and confidence, helping students envision and prepare for a brighter future.
Selected students, nominated by coaches from high schools, soccer clubs, and youth development programs, embark on a transformative leadership journey which includes:
Leadership & Workforce Development: Students engage in interactive online sessions focused on leadership and career readiness, covering topics such as decision-making, resilience, and personal branding. These sessions feature Q&A opportunities with college athletes, professional players, and influential leaders from the sports and business sectors, offering students invaluable insights and networking opportunities.
Refereeing & Coaching Certification: Students earn official refereeing and grassroots coaching licenses, enabling them to step into paid roles at local youth soccer clubs. These certifications build their resumes and provide immediate income opportunities benefiting their local communities.
Community Impact Through Soccer: Students are challenged to lead their high school or club teams in designing and implementing a community service project centered around soccer. This hands-on experience strengthens their leadership and project management skills while making a positive impact in their local Community.
Protential Academy students are inspired to explore college pathways in fields like Sports Management, Social Entrepreneurship, and other programs that empower them to drive positive change in sports and their communities.
